PORCELAIN PANTY PARTY
with Eclectic Inventory & Waterbury Wine & Spirits
September 12th 7-10pm

Bring your own panties (the lacier or funkier, the better) and join us for a night of clay, wine, and vintage treasures. In this all-levels workshop, we’ll use a method called burnout firing — dipping your underwear in porcelain slip, then firing it so the fabric burns away, leaving a delicate, ghostly ceramic keepsake. Romantic gesture? Risqué conversation piece? Cute décor? You decide.

After the dipping is done, we’ll head across the hall to Eclectic Inventory for an exclusive 15% off vintage shopping night, complete with a movie playing in the background, a charcuterie spread, and pours from our friends at Waterbury Wines.

Your finished porcelain piece will be fired and ready for pick-up in about 2–3 weeks.

When: September 12th, 7-10pm
Where: 35 Meadow St, Ste 216, Brooklyn, NY 11206
Includes: Porcelain slip, firing, wine, charcuterie, and storewide discount
What to bring: Your panties for dipping (lace and textures work best!).
We recommend 4 per person maximum.

“I LIKE YOUR FACE” WEEKEND BUST WORKSHOP
September 18th & 19th  —  10am - 6pm

In this all-levels workshop, you’ll design and sculpt a clay bust up to 2 feet tall — human, creature, or something in between. We’ll explore proportion, expression, and surface detail so your bust tells its own story, whether it’s a self-portrait, a mythical guardian, or a character straight from your imagination.

Working step-by-step alongside me in the studio, you’ll learn:

︎ Building strong forms with minimal armature
︎ Blocking out proportions for a bust under 2 feet
︎ Carving features and adding expressive details
︎ Surface finishing with slips or textures

When: September 18th & 29th, 10am - 6pm
Where: 35 Meadow St, Ste 216, Brooklyn, NY 11206
Includes: Clay (75 lbs), tools, firing, and light refreshments
What to bring: A FORK, your personal tool kit (supplies are available at the studio), and a sketchbook.

Your piece will be bisque-fired and ready for pick-up in 3–4 weeks.
You can return for a glaze session to add color for $50.
